The Sinner by Shantel Tessier

I'm not sure how to put into words how amazing this book was. Before I go into it, though, make sure to check the trigger warnings bc this book is super dark. If you have no triggers, then go in blind! You won't be disappointed! This story had me on the edge of my seat. And just when I thought I knew what was happening, I was blindsided again. I couldn't put the story down, and my mind was reliving it in my dreams! I had to read one-handed multiple times bc of the scenes. At points, I was scared, I cried, and then I was full of love for Sin. If you loved The Ritual, you will love this book. I definitely love Sin as much, if not more, than Ryat. But again, check the TW bc this book goes to some really dark places. Maybe the darkest book I have ever read.
