I devoured this story. I love mafia books, and this one did not disappoint. The spice is low-level, but the storyline is so good. Roman is your typical pakhan, tough, stubborn, thick-headed, possessive, and grumpy. Nina is an eclectic woman who is funny, intelligent, unique, and strong-willed. This story was not dark on my level but did have a few darker scenes.
