I honestly wasn't sure if I would like this story with Beau being the sub and Maggie the dom. I prefer my men to be... asshats and psycho. I love a good story where the man is sweet and kind-hearted but, at the same time, dominant in the bedroom. But I went into this open-mindedness because Maggie needed her own story. I am so happy I did. This story was hot! I loved seeing how broken Beau was and how becoming the sub he is allowed him to move past his past hurts and become the amazing man we all knew he could be—and watching Maggie become the sexy, fabulous Domme she is... hot! This story pulled at me and made me want to own my sexuality even more than I do. I am not a Domme, but my inner Domme definitely screamed to come out. I am strong in my sexuality, but this book made me much more confident, which is a sign of a fantastic story.
