Lumber Snack by Mae Harden
I loved this short story. This story made me laugh out loud at times. Millie was bright, spunky, and whimsical. Sam was a hermit that was accommodating and selfless. After only knowing her for a few hours, Sam wanted Millie to have the Christmas she deserved. While the spice didn't happen until the end, the story had a great build-up to the explosive scene.
