I love going into books blind because I never know much about the story. I have no triggers, so doing so is safe for me. I was not prepared for the start of this story. It took my breath away and made me love the characters more. So, to allow others to experience it the same way, I am not going to give you details. I will say Conor is an amazingly strong, independent woman who inspires you to work through your ghosts. Jake is the sexy cowboy we all want and loves completely. If I could re-read this for the first time, I would do it over and over. This story was intense in parts but put you back together at the end. Now time for some Jarret!
