Go into this book blind! I don't want to spoil the story because if you know what will happen, it won't have the same impact.

Miles is a grumpy, self-absorbed narcissist who makes me want to throat punch him (after reading part 2). The MFC is intelligent, friendly, and blunt. She wants to make everyone in her life happy but does one thing for herself, which blows up in her face. This book is so good and shocked me at times. I had all the feels during it, and the semi-cliffhanger at the end has me gasping. I can't wait to read the second book!!
